A mild earthquake rattled the eastern reaches of San Diego County Monday, authorities reported.

The 3.6-magnitude temblor, centered about 12 1/2 miles northeast of Mount Laguna in the Anza-Borrego area, took place shortly after 1:30 p.m., the U.S. Geological Survey advised.

The quake caused no reported damage or injuries, according to Cal Fire and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
