A motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday after allegedly traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of state Route 163 in Linda Vista and causing a three-car collision.
The driver’s vehicle struck other vehicles at 4:13 a.m. Saturday in the HOV lanes and at least one person was taken to the hospital with injuries, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported, quoting Onscene.TV.
The California Highway Patrol said the driver of a dark-colored Honda was seen entering the northbound lanes near Sabre Springs.
The CHP was investigating the collision.
