A 25-year-old man riding a motorcycle in Del Mar Heights was seriously injured Saturday evening when he collided with a car turning left.
San Diego Police reported crash occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the intersection with Mar Scenic Drive as a 16-year-old girl in a Nissan Moreno attempted to turn left onto Del Mar Heights Road.
The motorcycle rider was transported to a hospital with serious head trauma, though police said the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The girl driving the Nissan was not injured.
The San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
