A San Diego Fire-Rescue Department crew Friday extricated a driver injured in a two-vehicle collision in the Miramar neighborhood.

An SUV and small box truck collided at Camino Santa Fe and Frost-Mar Place around 7:40 a.m., trapping the SUV driver in the vehicle, said Jose Ysea of SDFD.

Firefighters freed the person and paramedics transferred both motorists to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, he said. Their conditions were unknown and their identities were not made available.

No information was immediately available on the cause of the collision.
