Firefighters extinguished a blaze Tuesday morning that tore through a house in the Grant Hill neighborhood, authorities said.

The non-injury blaze was reported shortly before 9:50 a.m. at a single- story residence on South Gregory Street, off South 33rd Street just west of Interstate 15, said San Diego Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Monica Munoz.

Crews arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames, Munoz said. All of the home’s occupants were able to make it out safely.

Firefighters knocked down the flames within 10 minutes, she said.

It was not immediately clear how many residents were displaced by the blaze.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
