A man was hospitalized following a shooting in the Egger Highlands area, police said Tuesday.
Dispatchers received reports of a domestic violence disturbance around 9:30 p.m. Monday near Saturn Boulevard and Palm Avenue, San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros said.
A 911 caller told dispatchers a short time later that they were driving the victim to a hospital, Fox5 reported.
The victim, a man whose age was not immediately available, was shot in the hand and possibly the side of the mouth, Delimitros said. An update on the man’s condition was not immediately available.
No suspect description has been disclosed.
