Federal narcotics agents raided a Clairemont home Thursday, seizing a variety of illicit drugs and arresting four people, authorities said.
The personnel served a warrant at the house in the 4200 block of Feather Avenue early Thursday morning. In the searched, they found fentanyl powder, counterfeit fentanyl pills, liquid and powder methamphetamine, and PCP, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Authorities took two men and two women into custody during the operation, DEA spokeswoman Kameron Korte said. They did not release the suspects’ names.
A hazardous materials team assisted the agents in handling the fentanyl, an extremely potent opioid that can be deadly even in small amounts.
