A man who was found dead Monday at the Aliso Creek Rest Area on northbound Interstate 5 in Oceanside likely succumbed to a drug overdose, officials said.

The discovery of the body in men’s restroom stall was made at about 2:35 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.

Oceanside Police Department spokesman Tom Bussey said the man had not suffered any visible trauma and probably had overdosed.

Authorities did not have any further details on the victim’s age or identity.
