The body of a man was found floating Wednesday in the San Diego Bay.
Police were called about 5:30 p.m. after a report of the body in the water at the Laurel Street Anchorage, said San Diego Harbor Police Sgt. T.D. De La Pena.
A dive team recovered the body and began searching the surrounding waters for possible evidence, De La Pena said.
The middle-aged man did not have any obvious signs of trauma, he said. De La Pena said he didn’t know how long the body may have been in the water.
