A fire damaged an unoccupied Otay Mesa condominium Monday morning, authorities said.
There was no immediately word on what sparked the blaze, which was reported around 9:30 a.m. at the two-story condo on Caminito Quixote, off Picador Boulevard north of state Route 905, San Diego Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Monica Munoz said.
Crews searched the home, but did not find any residents inside, Munoz said. The fire was knocked down within 15 minutes.
