A least one person was killed Thursday in a crash on rain-slicked Interstate 5 in the Mission Bay area.
The fatal accident was reported at 12:43 a.m. on the northbound freeway south of Clairemont Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The person reporting the crash told the highway patrol it involved an Uber, the CHP said.
All northbound lanes were closed temporarily but lanes 4 and 5 were reopened at 1:18 a.m., the CHP said.
