A man was killed Sunday morning in a crash on Interstate 805 in the Serra Mesa neighborhood of San Diego.
The crash on the southbound freeway, north of Murray Ridge Road, occurred at 4:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim was a passenger in the car with his pregnant girlfriend, who survived the crash.
The crash possibly involved a pickup truck, and the CHP’s investigation is continuing.
