A 30-year-old man suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo branch in Mission Valley was arrested Friday.
The man later identified as Timothy Huss walked into the branch at 1350 Fashion Valley Road, approached a teller and demanded money about 3:15 p.m., San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said.
The teller handed over an unknown amount of money and Huss fled north on Fashion Valley Road, according to Heims.
Officers responded to the scene and a witness pointed out the suspect. Officers began to chase him, Heims said and Huss fled to 6855 Friars Road where he was taken into custody.
Huss was booked on a robbery charge, Heims said.
