Two men were stabbed and one suspect was in custody after a street fight early Sunday morning in the Rolando neighborhood.

At about 5 a.m., a group became involved in a brawl on Cartegena Drive near University Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Five men and a woman were in the street when three men came up and confronted the group and allegedly attacked two men in the group. The fight moved from the street to an alley.

Two victims were stabbed in the torso and arms. The wounds were not life-threatening and the two victims were taken to a hospital.

Police took one of the alleged attackers into custody and the other two fled the scene.
