A man suffered stab wounds in Mountain View Park Sunday afternoon, police said.
He was taken to a hospital at about 3:30 p.m., but the extent of his injuries initially was unknown, according to Lt. Mike Kearney of the Escondido Police Department.
As part of their investigation, police tried to interview the victim at the hospital, but he did not cooperate.
