Several men wearing hoodies and driving a Ford F-250 truck stole an ATM machine from an AM/PM store in La Mesa early Sunday morning.
La Mesa Police said at least four suspects backed the truck into the store at Massachusetts Avenue and Waite Drive at about 3 a.m.
The suspects loaded the ATM into the truck’s bed and took off eastbound on Waite Drive, leaving the storefront heavily damaged.
Police and a K-9 attempted to track the suspects, but were unsuccessful.
On June 8, a 7-Eleven store in Spring Valley was hit in a similar manner.
