A second-alarm fire early Sunday morning destroyed the kitchen and heavily damaged the interior of a sushi restaurant in University City.
The fire at EDO Sushi in the Renaissance Town Center at 8895 Towne Centre Drive broke out just before 2 a.m.
Firefighters at the scene said an electrical problem may have sparked the blaze.
A nearby health business suffered water damage during the incident.
