A husky thief robbed an El Cerrito-area bank this afternoon.
The man confronted a clerk at the Citibank branch office in the 5900 block of El Cajon Boulevard and demanded cash about 3:15 p.m., according to San Diego police.
After the victim handed over an undetermined amount of money, the robber, described as a heavyset Latino man in dark-colored clothing, fled to the north through a residential area off 60th Street, Officer Robert Heims said.
