A man who got stuck climbing on “false trails” above Black’s Beach had to be rescued Sunday by San Diego Lifeguards, officials reported.
The 55-year-old man strayed from the main paths, “climbing in places he should not have been and got stuck halfway down,” according to San Diego Fire-Rescue Department lifeguards.
The dramatic rescue took place during the Super Bowl, and prompted a stern message from lifeguards: “beware of false trails and stay on the main paths please.”
No injuries were reported.
