A family of five was displaced when a blaze damaged their Campo home Monday morning, authorities said.

Dispatchers received reports of a fire shortly before 6:10 a.m. at a home in the 33000 block of Highway 94, Cal Fire Capt. Issac Sanchez said.

Crews responded to the single-story home and knocked down the flames in around 20 minutes, Sanchez said.

No injuries were reported.

The American Red Cross was called in to help the three adults and two children who lived in the residence arrange for alternate lodging.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
