A sexual predator who grabbed a female victim off an Ocean Beach sidewalk and assaulted her in a nearby alley is being sought by police.
The alleged sexual assault took place shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Bacon Street.
The suspect grabbed the victim by the arm as she was walking and pulled her into the nearby alley, according to San Diego police Lt. Jason Weeden. The suspect struck the victim on the face, threw her on the ground, and sexually assaulted her, Weeden said.
The suspect is described as a 25- to 35-year-old white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a very thin build. He had short hair or may have been balding, and had a well-trimmed red beard, according to Weeden.
