The transition ramp from southbound Interstate 15 to state Route 52 will be closed Monday evening through Tuesday morning in the Kearny Mesa area for maintenance work, according to Caltrans.
Crews plan to close the southbound I-15 connector to eastbound and westbound SR-52 from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. for guardrail repair.
Signs will be posted directing motorists to continue on southbound I- 15 and exit at Balboa Avenue then turn left onto Balboa Avenue and take northbound I-15 to SR-52, according to Caltrans.
