A car crash caused a power outage for hundreds of customers across Spring Valley, La Presa, Bay Terraces and Paradise Hills Sunday.
A transformer was struck by a car near the intersection of Paradise Valley Road and Paradise Valley Court around 2 p.m., knocking out power to 445 electrical customers, San Diego Gas and Electric spokeswoman Allison Torres said.
Most customers had their power restored about two hours later, just after 4 p.m.
Torres said 25 customers remained without electricity, and it was expected to take another two to three hours to fix the problem.
There were two other crashes in Bay Terraces on Saturday afternoon, but they appear to be unrelated.
San Diego Fire-Rescue officials had no information on whether anyone was injured in the crash that damaged the transformer.
