Two people who were trapped in a remote reef area of Sunset Cliffs were rescued by lifeguards Sunday although details are sketchy.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Lifeguard tweeted an aerial image of the rescue around 2:30 p.m. and reported that the two victims suffered only minor scratches.
There were no details on how the duo became trapped. According to weather reports, San Diego afternoon low tide occurred at 12:57 p.m. followed by high tide at 6:54 p.m.
