A man accused of peeping into the windows of unsuspecting women in the Pacific Beach area over the past month pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a half-dozen misdemeanor counts of peeking while loitering and one count of petty theft.
James Wayne Hubbard, 48, was arrested last Friday.
San Diego police said the peeping incidents took place between Sept. 11 and Oct. 12, the day of Hubbard’s arrest.
The suspect description was consistent; a white male, bald, of medium height, and medium to heavy-set build, according to police, who said six reported cases occurred during that time frame.
Hubbard will be back in court Oct. 24 for a readiness conference. A jury trial was set for Nov. 5.
