An SUV crashed into a house in Lakeside early Monday morning, but the driver and a passenger were able to escape without injury.
The accident happened shortly after 1:45 a.m. at a house in the 10800 block of Oak Creek Drive, California Highway Patrol Officer Tommy Doerr said.
A woman was driving downhill on Oak Creek Drive with a passenger in the vehicle when her Ford Excursion’s brakes stopped working and the SUV crashed into the living room of the house, 10News reported. The living room reportedly was full of antique furniture, but the residents were not in the room at the time.
