A 13-year-old boy who ran away from his home in his family’s car has returned safely, police said Saturday.
The boy was reported to have taken off in his family’s 2006 Toyota Rav4 around 8 p.m. Friday, Oceanside police said.
He returned home uninjured by about 10:45 p.m.
