Oceanside police are seeking the public’s help in solving the death of 77-year-old John Roth, found slain August 14 inside his home at 530 N. Tremont St.
Roth was last seen alive at 1 p.m. Aug. 13 by his wife, according to authorities.
Taken from his home was property including jewelry, a brown wooden jewelry box, a black Asus computer and an LG cell phone, police said.
San Diego County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
