Authorities were seeking clues Sunday in the Saturday afternoon stabbing death of a man in El Cajon.
It happened just after 2 p.m. on a sidewalk in front of the 7-Eleven convenience store on Jamacha Road at Washington Street, media sources said.
The unidentified victim walked toward the store before collapsing and died at a hospital.
Police were told a possible suspect left in a white Oldsmobile, according to the Union-Tribune.
Later that afternoon, police received a report of a burglary at a home on North Mollison Avenue, and apprehended a man who appeared to match the description of the suspect in the stabbing incident, the newspaper reported.
Officers are still searching for another possible suspect, described as a thin man, 25-30 years old, 5-foot 5 to 5-foot 8 with brown eyes and hair, according to NBC San Diego.
