Authorities reached out to the public Wednesday for help in finding a man suspected of fatally shooting a Fairmount Village resident two weeks ago.
Dominique Raynard Grady, 26, allegedly gunned down 21-year-old Jossie Ruiz in her apartment in the 3600 block of 45th Street on June 16, according to San Diego police.
Relatives of the victim found her dead about 5 p.m. that day, nearly 12 hours after she had returned home from an all-night outing with friends, said Lt. Matt Dobbs.
Grady is described as roughly 5 feet 6 and 140 pounds. Police have not disclosed his relationship to the victim, if any, and have publicly identified no motive for the alleged murder.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
