Five people were beaten and stabbed — one critically — late Saturday night during a brawl at a party in a Chula Vista apartment complex.
Details were sketchy, but witnesses told police the five were stabbed, cut and beaten when an argument in the apartment’s courtyard turned into a fight.
Chula Vista Fire Department personnel told a videographer at the scene that one man was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
The fight started after 11 p.m. at the apartment complex on Oxford Street near Broadway.
Chula Vista Police are still piecing together information and planned to provide an official report later.
