A 63-year-old man is hospitalized Saturday morning with a fractured pelvis after he was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision in Logan Heights.

The man was crossing the street in the 3400 block of National Avenue outside the crosswalk at 10 p.m. Friday when an unknown car struck him, then fled in an unknown direction, said Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.

The man was transported to a hospital with a fractured pelvis and other injuries, but they are not considered life-threatening, Heims said.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division.
