Police have released surveillance video they hope will help lead to the arrest of a stranger who allegedly assaulted a woman in front of a Mid-City 7-Eleven.
On Feb. 15 around 9 p.m., the victim was standing outside the 3019 Meade Avenue store using a Redbox machine when the male suspect walked up and stood behind her. After a short time, he pushed her to the ground causing injuries, according to San Diego police.
The victim did not know the suspect, police said.
