A 20-year-old man was seriously injured Thursday when the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV in San Diego’s Midway neighborhood.
The crash occurred about 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Sutherland Street, according to San Diego Police Department Officer Robert Heims.
The motorcycle collided with a 2010 Subaru Outback driven by a 57-year-old man who made a left turn from Sutherland to southbound PCH from Sutherland, Heims said.
The Subaru turned in front of the bike, which struck the SUV and threw the rider to the pavement, causing him to suffer multiple fractures, Heims said.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
