Sheriff’s officials Thursday sought public help to track down a trailer stolen from a Santee coffee shop.
The theft occurred sometime between the evening of Jan. 23 and 5 a.m. on Jan. 24, San Diego County sheriff’s Detective Jacob Wilson said. The trailer was stolen from behind The Coffee Corner at 9608 Carlton Hills Blvd.
The black trailer has the company’s name in red and white decal lettering on the back and sides. It’s a 2012 Interstate enclosed trailer that’s 5-feet-by-12-feet and has California license plate 4MC8836.
Loss of the trailer and its contents cost The Coffee Corner about $18,000, Wilson said.
Anyone with information about the theft or the whereabouts of the trailer was asked to call the sheriff’s Santee substation at (619) 956-4000, San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
