A fight between two groups broke out Thursday at a Logan Heights skateboard park, seriously injuring a 28-year-old man, according to a police lieutenant.

The brawl was reported shortly before 2 p.m. at Memorial Skatepark located at 702 S. 30th St.

Witnesses fled the scene before police arrived, but one man reported being attacked and was suffering non-life-threatening head injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, said San Diego police Lt. Wadhams.

The attack is currently under investigation.
