A large search effort was underway Wednesday night for a man who stripped and entered the ocean off Coronado Shores.
Police, firefighters and lifeguards from various jurisdictions are involved in the search that began around 8 p.m.
Witnesses reportedly told police the man took off his clothing before entering the surf.
