Police Saturday determined a suspicious package at a Rancho Bernardo business was not an explosive device.
The package was reported at a storage facility in the 10900 block of Via Frontera at 11:37 a.m., according to Officer Tony Martinez of the San Diego Police Department.
No road closures were reported, as the item was found on the storage facility’s property at a distance from the street, Martinez said.
Officers made the determination that the package was not an explosive and cleared the scene at about 2:55 p.m., Martinez said.
No further information was available.
