San Diego Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the hit-and-run driver who struck and seriously injured a pedestrian in the Chollas View neighborhood earlier this month.

A late-model, dark-grey Toyota Corolla traveling south on 47th Street toward Imperial Avenue hit a 63-year-old woman early on Sept. 23, causing her multiple fractures requiring extensive hospitalization.

Police said the vehicle is missing its passenger side mirror and would have damage to its front bumper, hood, and windshield.

San Diego Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
