A stabbing in an Encanto-area neighborhood left one person wounded late Tuesday afternoon, authorities reported.
The assault in the 6400 block of Wunderlin Avenue was reported shortly after 5:30 p.m., according to San Diego police.
Medics took the victim, described only as male, to a hospital for treatment of two stab wounds of undetermined severity, Officer John Buttle said.
No description of the assailant was immediately available, and the circumstances of the assault were unclear, Buttle said.
