An SUV struck and gravely injured a 13-year-old boy on a Logan Heights street Monday, authorities reported.
The teen was crossing Ocean View Boulevard to the north when the eastbound vehicle hit him near 32nd Street shortly before 7 a.m., according to San Diego Police .
Medics took the boy to Rady Children’s Hospital for treatment of life- threatening trauma, Officer Dino Delimitros said.
Traffic-accident investigators were working to determine who was at fault for the crash.
