A serious injury crash Saturday closed lanes of Bear Valley Parkway in Escondido.
A car collided with a motorcycle around 10:52 a.m., and all southbound lanes were shut down between San Pasqual Road and Interstate 15, according to Escondido Police Sgt. Eric Olson.
Northbound traffic in the area was restricted to one lane.
The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, Olson said. He was idetified publicly only as a man, and details about his condition were yet available.
The driver of the car was not injured, according to Olson.
Police expected the closures to last until about 2:30 p.m.
