Two people suffered minor injuries Thursday when a car and an ambulance collided on a Rancho Penasquitos freeway onramp.
The emergency vehicle crashed into the Ford Mustang on the connector from Carmel Mountain Road to Interstate 15 about 8:45 a.m., according to San Diego Police.
Medics took at least one of the injured people to a hospital, Officer Tony Martinez said.
The circumstances of the accident — including whether the ambulance entered the intersection with lights and siren activated — were not immediately clear.
