Authorities released the name Monday of a 23-year old man who was fatally shot by an unidentified assailant near his family’s San Carlos-area home.
Cyniace Vilsaint of San Diego was gunned down in the 6600 block of Park Ridge Boulevard shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, according to police.
A family member drove the victim to nearby Kaiser Permanente Zion Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Lt. Mike Holden said.
Police have disclosed no suspected motive for the slaying and have released no description of the killer or killers.
