Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in an April 30 hit-and-run in Clairemont that left a 37-year-old woman with serious injuries.
The woman was legally crossing the intersection of Mt. Edna Drive and Genesee Avenue when she was struck by a black Honda Civic.
The driver momentarily stopped and approached the victim, but then got back in the car and drove away.
The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes and short blond hair, 40 to 50 years old, about 5-foot, 9-inches tall, and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue or gray T-shirt, cargo shorts with a green stripe, and tennis shoes.
