A suspected drunk driver who was traveling too fast to maneuver a turn on a Bay Terraces street crashed into a house this Sunday morning, according to San Diego police.
The driver suffered a broken ankle and cut on her face, and was hospitalized after, said police.
Officers responded at about 4 a.m. to the area near Arroyo Seco Drive and Rio Lindo Drive, where the 57-year-old driver of a 2011 Nissan lost control and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Officer Robert Heims.
A 32-year-old female passenger complained of minor pain, but was not hospitalized, Heims said. The driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
