A man was shot to death Monday morning in an Oceanside neighborhood.
Officers sent to the 4700 block of Calle Estrella near Calle Mariposa around 6:20 a.m. found the victim with a gunshot wound to the stomach, according to Oceanside Police. He died at the scene.
The gunman fled in a vehicle described as a white Acura before police arrived. He was described as a clean-shaven Hispanic man between 20 and 27 with a “skinny face,” according to police.
