A marijuana dispensary in Spring Valley was busted up Thursday after sheriff’s detectives served a search warrant and seized pot plants, cash and other items.
Detectives assigned to the Rancho San Diego Station and Special Enforcement Detail descended upon Empire marijuana dispensary at 8600 Troy Street in the morning hours, where they allegedly found evidence of an unlawful operation.
An indoor marijuana grow was discovered and 300 plants were seized, according to Lt. Thomas Seiver.
A subsequent search warrant was obtained and served at a residence on the same property, where detectives allegedly found a large amount of marijuana, marijuana edibles, currency, marijuana paraphernalia as well as items used in the sales of marijuana.
Four adults were arrested in connection with the investigation.
