A man was pistol whipped and carjacked by three people Wednesday evening in Barrio Logan.
It happened at 9:19 p.m. in the 2800 block of Main Street, according to San Diego Police Officer John Buttle.
Two men and a woman approached the victim while he was sitting inside his 1996 Toyota Corolla and demanded his car and money, Buttle said.
As the victim was complying with the suspect’s demands, he was pistol whipped by one of the suspects before they took off with his car, Buttle said.
The victim was not injured.
