A Cadillac Escalade carrying suspected illegal immigrants crashed in Chula Vista during a Border Patrol chase late Sunday night.
The pursuit began just before midnight and ended near Route 125 and Birch Road when the driver of the Cadillac apparently lost control and the vehicle crashed into a ravine.
Six occupants of the vehicle were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions were not immediately released.
The Border Patrol and California Highway Patrol are investigating the incident.
